Masaajid are at the heart of every community, serving as places of worship, learning, and social engagement.

Current Status

• 1 Permanent Mosque in Bagasi.

• 2 Temporary Mosques in Murub & Kargi-Urwein.

• A total of three Masaajid constructed so far, with five more planned.

Planned Projects

• 1 Pledged Masjid (awaiting confirmation).

• 19 additional locations need Mosques.

• Estimated Cost: Kshs 5.2 Million per Mosque.

• Total Proposed Budget: Kshs 104 Million.

• Construction Cost per Masjid (including housing for Maalim): $33,000.

Laisamis Mosque Project

• Land: 130 x 100 plot purchased for Kshs 1.3 Million in a prime location along the Northern Corridor Highway.

• Construction Cost: Kshs 20 Million (to include a mosque, madrassa, and other amenities).

• Future Plans: Vocational training center & library for Islamic literature.

  • Fund a Mosque – Kshs 5.2 Million builds a mosque for 300+ worshippers.

  • Equip a Mosque – Kshs 500,000 provides prayer mats, Qur’ans, and educational resources.

  • Sponsor an Imam – Monthly stipend of Kshs 30,000 ensures leadership and religious guidance.
